Sacraments
The Sacramental Program at OLGC and All Hallows guides young Parishioners through their journey of Christian initiation into the Church following on from their Baptism. School aged children are provided with preparation for their reception of the sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation.
For those young people attending OLGC and All Hallows Parish Primary Schools, preparation for these sacraments occurs within the school’s Religious Education program. For those attending other local schools, preparation is undertaken under the guidance of our Parishes' Catechists. Once the preparation stage has been completed, these young people are presented for the sacrament together as one group.
As a guide, young Parishioners of OLGC and All Hallows participate in sacrament programs in Year 3 (Reconciliation), Year 4 (First Communion) and Year 6 (Confirmation).
